GX56 side mount busbar Contactor

The revolutionary GX56 from Gigavac is based on EPIC™ technology (Extended Performance Impervious Ceramics) and can handle voltages from 12V to 800V both AC and DC and currents up to 3000A. The housing withstands 150°C without melting or discoloring. GX56 uses the same technology that until now only has been available in more expensive products in the aerospace industry. The GX56 is hermetically sealed and fulfills the demands for UL1604 class I, II and III for use in risky environments. The IP67 protection class makes it possible to temporarily immerse the contactor in water for 30 minutes. Moreover, SAE J1171 for external spark protection and ISO8846 for protection against sparks in flammable gases. The GX56 has built in coil suppression and all mounting details are made of stainless steel to secure many years of operation without corrosion, no matter the environment.
