​The K3ZS20 is a star-delta timer relay engineered to manage the transition between star and delta configurations during motor startups, effectively reducing inrush currents and mechanical stress. Operating within a supply voltage range of 12 to 240V AC/DC, it offers broad compatibility with various industrial systems. The relay provides four selectable star operation times—10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, and 3 minutes—allowing precise control over motor startup sequences. Transition intervals from star to delta are adjustable among 40 ms, 60 ms, 80 ms, and 100 ms to accommodate specific application requirements. Equipped with two changeover contacts, the K3ZS20 ensures reliable switching capabilities. Its compact 38mm housing is designed for DIN-rail mounting, facilitating easy installation in control panels. Clear LED indicators provide real-time status updates: a green LED signals supply voltage presence and delta contact operation, a flashing green LED indicates the active star timing period, and a yellow LED displays the status of the star contact.
