E152 6U VME Development Platform

Aitech's E152 6U VME Development Platform provides a versatile, easy to use, low cost environment for development of 6U systems and application software. The development platform includes a 4-slot VME64x backplane with rear I/O, an integral power supply, and a fan unit. The E152 can be ordered without boards, or with one or more Aitech air-cooled 6U VME SBCs. Functionality may be enhanced by adding Aitech or third party peripheral VME boards, additional SBCs, and PMCs/XMCs to SBCs or PMC/XMC carriers. SBC and PMC/XMC I/O can be easily accessed using transition modules with standard I/O connectors, assembled from the rear of the E152. Refer to the datasheets for the various Aitech 6U VME SBCs, peripheral boards, PMCs, XMCs, PMC/XMC Carriers, and Transition Modules for more information regarding the potential capabilities of the E152 Development Platform. The enclosure includes a modular 250 Watt power supply having the following characteristics. • Input Power: 100 - 240 Vac @ 50 - 60Hz • Output Power * – +5Vdc @ 40A – +3.3Vdc @ 40A – +12Vdc @ 5.5A – -12Vdc @ 2A * Total power should not exceed 250W • Output Protection – Short circuit – Overvoltage – Overload
