Together with our customers and partners, we are strongly committed to contributing to the development of a more sustainable society.
We work daily to help customers in various ways to find the best and most sustainable technology solutions. Value is created when we enable various societal benefits, such as the electrification of work machines, energy-efficient industrial automation, medical technology, and production of renewable energy.

For us, environment and quality are important, we are therefore very proud to have received ISO 9001 and ISO14001 certificates.
Sustainability Goals
Why are quality and sustainability important? SCN sees it as business-critical for our company to remain a key supplier in the future. By measuring our quality and sustainability goals, it helps us to prioritize and choose sustainable businesses to collaborate with.
Reduce CO₂ emissions
Our goal is to reduce CO₂ emissions by 50% by 2030. Our biggest environmental impact is freight, and therefore we have an active collaboration with our freight companies and choose green freight.
Contribute to the UN's Sustainability Goals
By 2030, all our business will be part of one of the UN Goals. This means that together with our customers, we are actively working towards sustainable products and projects.
The UN Goals on which SCN has the greatest impact are:
Goal 3: Good health and well-being. Our hardware solutions in medical technology and operating equipment are examples of how SCN works to ensure access to basic health care.
Goal 6: Clean water and sanitation for all. We have customers in water and sewage treatment, groundwater measurement, and water reuse in industry.
Goal 7: Sustainable energy for all. SCN offers electronic technology for the production and distribution of electricity, which are key components in the growing need for renewable energy and expansion of the grid.
Goal 9: Sustainable industry, innovation, and infrastructure. SCN's energy-efficient and reliable solutions in industrial automation, as well as the electrification of work machines and vehicles, contribute to upgrading the industry for increased sustainability.
Goal 12: Sustainable consumption and production. SCN actively works in several areas to reduce industry's impact on the environment, for example, with more energy-efficient machine and motor controls.
Goal 15: Oceans and marine resources. At SCN, we work with the electrification of diesel ships and ferries. Increased electrification of ships will greatly contribute to more sustainable shipping and also contribute to Sweden's ambition to be independent of fossil fuels by 2045.
Suppliers
Our well-chosen partners are often specialized actors who themselves work in resource efficiency, climate impact, and promoting good working conditions and responsible production.
Working for a sustainable supply chain is important to deliver value to our customers and contribute to sustainable development. To ensure that our partners meet our high standards, they need to fulfill and sign our "supplier code of conduct" before they become approved partners. Through the code of conduct, we work to ensure that the minimum requirements of our code are met in areas such as: human rights, working conditions, equal treatment, anti-corruption, and environment.
Code of Conduct
In our code of conduct, we summarize how we should all act to run our business in an ethical, social, and environmental way. Addtech's decentralized organization is based on freedom under responsibility, while all employees have a common foundation to stand on, making it easier for everyone to take responsibility.

SCN strives to maintain a transparent business climate and high business ethics. We value everyone's safety and respect everyone affected by our business.
