DRV Series Rated Up to 1.5kV / 200A

DRV- Series solid-state reverser features a H-bridge engineered for switching the polarity of DC currents up to 1.5kV/200A. With the solid-state bridge, internal diode paths ensure a natural discharge for back-EMF generated by motor loads during turn-off. This suppresses transients, and eliminates arcs, making solid-state reversers much superior to electromechanical reversers. DRV- Series reversers have a built-in interlock protection of ~200ms. This prevents both forward and reverse signal being engaged at the same time. Each reverser unit also comes with a standard installation kit that includes fasteners and thermal interface material.

Nominal Controls is a Canadian company specializing in advanced power control and pressure sensing solutions for industrial applications. The company offers a broad range of products, including DC solid-state contactors, pressure sensors, and related components.

Their Mach-1™ series of DC solid-state contactors is designed to handle high currents and voltages, with ratings up to 400A and 1500 VDC. These contactors are ideal for applications requiring fast and reliable switching, such as electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and industrial automation.

For even higher power demands, Nominal Controls offers the MAX-Q™ series, capable of handling over 500A and up to 6000 VDC. These are especially suitable for demanding heavy industrial and energy sector applications.

In addition to contactors, the company also supplies melt pressure sensors, AC voltage converters, and other sensors used in various industrial processes. Their products are known for high reliability and long service life, making them a preferred choice among engineers and system integrators.
